Finally, a breath of fresh air from the boring Calvin Harris we’ve been hearing on mainstream radio so much lately. This track has renewed my hope in the producer’s choices in remixing. While I’m at it, CH, please perform live at your shows. For someone who has claimed not to be a “popstar” it sure seems like you’re headed in that direction. You of all people should understand the value in live performance! I guess I’m just disappointed that he simply DJ’ed the same rotation of popular EDM tracks I had heard all weekend at Coachella instead of performing on the piano & singing his classics live. He was one of the artists I was the most stoked to see. I’m on the fence with you Mr. Harris!

I know what you’re thinking. Oh God, not another Gotye Remix. I definitely thought the same thing and I think I will shoot myself if I hear it one more time after being played nonstop in Vegas this weekend. But this bootleg really takes the cake, preserving all the great elements of the original and enhancing it with a disco sounding beat. I discovered it today on Eric Prydz’s new podcast, EPIC. Download the podcast if you’re ready to get funky, it is pretty excellent.

AND WE’LL ALL BE STARING AT THE WAVE. Holy shizzz this is my new favorite track. What a colossal remix by Thomas Gold. Thanks to TechiBeats for consistently churning out quality posts. If you haven’t already please LIKE them on Facebook, they are an awesome blog. You’ve got a TechiRep on your hands now.

Watch out, DJ Bean on the 1′s and 2′s. This is a mix I made of my favorite house & trance songs of this season. It features some standout tracks from Coachella, new Kaskade Mashups, Tiesto, Morgan Page, Michael Woods, Deniz Koyu, Swedish House Mafia and more. The beginning transition is messed up (didn’t realize it until it was all done) but the rest is okay. Put it on for a long drive or before your workout. Hope you like it :)

Tracklist:
1. The Chase (feat. Belle Humble) – Lazy Rich
2. Warrior (Original Mix) – Michael Woods
3. Carry Me (feat. Nadia Ali) – Morgan Page
4. Call Out Epic (Kaskade Mashup) – Kaskade vs. Sandro Silva
5. Dangerous (Deniz Koyu Remix) – James Blunt
6. Love Is Not Enough (Kaskade Remix) – Above & Beyond feat. Zoe Johnston
7. Suddenly Summer (feat. Ana Criado) – Armin Van Buuren
8. Call Me Greyhound (Kap Slap Bootleg) – Swedish House Mafia vs. Carly Rae Jepsen
9. We Own The Night (feat. Luciana) – Tiesto & Wolfgang Gartner
10. That Miami Track (Original Mix) – Tocadisco feat. Julian Smith
11. No Access (Original Mix) – Michael Woods
12. Young Blood (Tiesto & Hardwell Remix) – The Naked & Famous

Ooooooooohhhhh, how delicious is this remix? Especially the buildup and drop at 2:00. Got me smiling the whole time.

I loved the original Above & Beyond version of Love Is Not Enough featuring Zoe Johnston‘s incredible voice range. A&B’s music is pretty emotional stuff so if you want a bit more upbeat version of this amazing track, I have the answer. Kaskade Remix.

I meeeeeeeeeeean. Example, Flux Pavilion, AND Jack Beats all in one track? SIGN ME UP.

via Dancing Astronaut:

“Today is the official release of Flux Pavilion’s latest single,”Daydreamer.”After bringing you remixes from Dillon Francis & Danny Byrd, we have the awesome Jack Beats remix for you today. Our favorite British Fidget House duo put their spin on Flux’s track, adding in the hallmarks of their sound. Their bouncy beat and wobbly bass add a lot of character to the track and make for a slightly more ambitious remix than those we saw from Dillon and Danny. Jack Beats have an album coming out in the next few weeks so stay tuned for our review of that. With all the exciting productions they have been behind recently we’re sure its going to be very well received.”
