Don’t Stop (The FatRat Remix) – Foster The People

So the Grammys were last night and one of my favorite standout performances was the Beach Boys tribute was Foster The People. Mark Foster was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen. Case in point: him singing “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” for the Beach Boys tribute. I just want to eat him.
Up next is FatRat’s fun, headbobbing remix of Foster The People’s Don’t Stop.
More Grammy notes: Even though they’ve been around for 5 years now, Bon Iver won best new artist. Mike Vernon’s acceptance speech reminded us that he was always in it for the reward of making music, not winning awards. I also rather enjoyed Taylor Swift’s performance. I’m not a huge fan of her music normally, but Mean is very catchy and I think she’s a good performer. I also enjoyed the costumes and set decorations for her performance.

Today I have some great songs by Belgian/Australian musician Gotye, who will be perfoming this year on Sunday of Coachella. His music videos are awesomely trippy & Tim Burton-esque; his lyrics are a powerful & honest commentary on love, heartbreak, & society.

Okay okay Drake finally won me over. I recently watched him on Chelsea Lately and I always end up having more respect for people when they can get grilled by Chelsea and still keep up with her. He seems like a funny guy.
